Gothic Elements!!

Nothing says Goth or can give you a better response to your Medieval curiousity like fashion. Looking back at history and the different elements of Gothic times there is always something that can be taken and made into something else. Fashion designers take inspiration from everything, either its Architeculture, flowers or the simple things like a rock on the ground.

Muse...

Kris Van Assche

When you are a artist there must be things that inspire you……

Kris Van Assche has been my Muse since I start at Academy me of Art, I noticed him when I was checking out what was new in the Men’s Fashion world one day style.com. He has been working the Men’s fashion industry for a couple of seasons and is doing a damn good job at it.

Kris was born in Belgium in 1976 and studied at Antwerp Royal Academy of Fine Arts, which is an art school located in Belgium. When Kris graduated in 1998 he decided to move o Paris where he became an assistant for Hedi Slimane at Yves Saint Laurent. Van Assche continued working with Mr. Slimane and did an collaboration at Christian Dior and he launched Dior Homme. In 2005 Van Assche launched his own line. With his dope and Fresh cuts and shoes I would say kris is killing the industry. Like “Nicki Minaj” would say “Shited on em”.

Fashion Fiasco!!!!!!!!!

WHEN you think of a “Fiasco” you would consider something being a failure or a complete disaster. There is nothing good that can come out of a Fiasco, but I’ am going to change that. “Fashion” is all about trends and change and new things. Fashion and fiasco are two words that would be put together if a designer produced a collection that was a in a complete disarray. A while ago when I decided that I wanted to go to my second love which is fashion I wanted to change my look a little and decide to call myself a “Fashion Fiasco” something completely different from what you would think. It doesn’t mean I was a complete disaster, I was creating my own look and making statements and downing what I wanted to do with my outfits.

THE DEFINITION =>
FASHION FIASCO: TRENDSETTER, DRESS (SOME WHOM DRESS VERY WELL) , FASHIONABLY LATE; BUT ON TIME WITH YOUR OUTFIT, AN OVERALL FASHIONABLE PERSON (GUY)

The Term is definitely something that I like to use loosely. In this world there are a lot of Men or young men who should consider themselves a “Fashion Fiasco” there are celebrities I definitely think are destroying the fashion industry with the way they dress. There setting the ways for up and coming designers, singers, rappers etc. Setting the standards real high; letting it be known that “This is what we want to be wearing on a daily”. Most people that are into fashion are called “Fashionistas” but I think us fellas should give that to the lady’s. Let’s take “Fashion Fiasco” to a new level and make it our own.

My Examples:
Kanye West
David Agobodji (Black Male Model)
Kris Van Asshe (My muse)
Me (up and coming Men’s Designer dapriince-Nu New)

My Testimony

I come to you with my opinion on A man and "What He Wears". Every Man, young boy, or GeNtlemen has there own style or may follow trends. I have my own style "Copy Written" so you can say. My post will give you almost everything from Trends to Whats new and hot. Mens Fashion is not something I just look upon every now and then, it's my passion. It's what i do.
